In March.2015, I found myself spending a lot of time contemplating about the values in life. Inspired by Humans of New York, I started a 5-months project called "Humans of Seattle - RC". Whenever I was free, I would take my camera and ask strangers on the street some questions about their lives. I had learned a lot from this project and I was more than grateful for all the people I have encountered during this process. I think everyone is interesting, and we need only an observant eye to unearth each individual's unique values. I’m a believer in the power of curiosity and kindness. 😊
Above are some selected pictures from this project. Go to the Facebook page here for individual story for each picture.
This project is soon to be re-started.
Through talking with many strangers, I learned how to instantly make someone comfortable the moment I met them. I also learned to ask the right questions and listen attentively, which constantly make me a better interviewer.
